I am proud to announce my new lure for 2026: The Banshee from Livingston Lures. Built to be the ultimate musky crankbait, the Banshee checks all the boxes of traditional muskie and pike crankbaits, delivering a hard-pulsing thump in the water with a wide wobble and massive action. But while many lures can boast those same features, the Banshee sets itself apart with innovations designed for the modern era of musky fishing.

The Banshee features variable weighting, just like the award-winning Kraken, Titan, and Magnus. With the removable weight inserted, the Banshee executes a death pause that drives muskies and pike insane, forcing them to strike. On the pause, the lure hangs motionless with a painfully slow rise that apex predators simply can’t resist.

For more aggressive fishing conditions, the insert weight can be removed, giving the Banshee a quicker float like a traditional crankbait. That versatility alone would make it one of the most adaptable musky and pike crankbaits on the market. But the Banshee goes even further with a replaceable soft-plastic tail, secured by a simple rear screw, making it easy to swap or modify. Anglers can run the included grub tail or experiment with other options to perfectly dial in their presentation.

While the Banshee is a deadly casting crankbait and suspending jerkbait, it was also engineered with trolling in mind. When trolled, it displays a unique side-to-side wandering action previously only found in larger wooden trolling baits. After tireless research and development, the Banshee’s tuned wander makes it an incredibly effective trolling lure with true year-round potential.

From casting to trolling and all thing in-between the Banshee is the ultimate muskie and pike crankbait / jerkbait.

Official Product Description

The Banshee from Livingston Lures is not just another crankbait—it’s the future of downsized presentations. Designed by musky and pike expert Steven Paul, the Banshee blends traditional crankbait power with advanced features that push it into a category of its own. At its core, the Banshee delivers a wicked wide wobble that calls in muskies and pike, whether you’re casting or trolling. But where it truly stands apart is in its suspending behavior during the pause. Thanks to a cleverly designed removable weighting system, anglers can utilize multiple rise rates, unlocking unmatched versatility across depths, seasons, and presentations. The Banshee can be fished with a straight retrieve, rod sweeps, or twitch-stop sequences—but its true strike power is unleashed in the pause, where it suspends and hovers in place. Combined with Livingston Lures’ EBS™ (Electronic Baitfish Sound) Technology and advanced forward-facing sonar optimization, the Banshee doesn’t just imitate prey—it becomes a catalyst for strikes.
