The Lil Makk was built to solve a simple problem. Musky and pike anglers have been throwing oversized bass topwaters for years because they wanted a smaller presentation, but those lures were never designed to withstand the strikes and punishment of big predators dish out.
At just 4 inches and 1.5 ounces, the Lil Makk delivers a compact topwater profile while retaining the heavy-duty construction expected from a true musky lure. It features musky-grade through-wire construction, a hardened stainless steel rotating tail, premium Mustad black nickel hooks and Livingston’s No Roll lip design.
Its oversized rotating tail produces a deep, heavy plop and pushes serious water for a bait this size.
Downsizing can be one of the most effective adjustments in musky fishing, especially during the early season, after major weather changes, around smaller forage, or when pressured fish stop responding to oversized presentations.
